One of the biggest benefits of Sunset Cove is the incredible lack of through traffic. The street is primarily accessed by people who actually live on the street. For this reason, there's not a lot of car or truck noise.
About The Neighbors
About 70% of the people who live on Sunset Cove are year-round residents. The remaining 30% are what we affectionately call, "Snow Birds." They have another residence--usually in a northern state--and only spend part of their year (usually 4-6 months in the winter) on The Cove. This means that the summer months around here have even less traffic and noise. A quiet street is really a great advantage--no matter where you live.
Basic Demographics
The neighbors are made up of professionals, business owners, and retirees. Only 4 houses on the street have school age children. For information on schools, see the fact sheet.

In addition to being quiet, Sunset Cove features two unique areas that add to the tropical feeling you'll get every time you drive or walk down the street.
First, there's Sunset Circle, an additional bow in the road right in front of 720 that has a bird sanctuary in the middle of it. It is painstakingly maintained by the city and provides a pleasant place to relax during a walk around the neighborhood or while talking to friends in front of your house. You'll enjoy views of this park when looking out of the front windows of this home.
Second, there's Bay Point Estates Park. This is a private park deeded and reserved only for those homeowners who do not live on the water. It was the idea of the two original developers of the subdivision and remains private to this day. Because of the size of the park's lots, nothing can ever be built there. Because it's at the end of the cove, driving by the park on the way to 720 can provide an unobstructed view of the entire waterfront. And during sunset, it can be truly breathtaking.
